Patti Koslo has more than 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing, crisis management, safety and security, strategic planning, levy campaigns, event planning, client engagement, and sales. She has led numerous communications initiatives, including business rebranding, community engagement with schools, crisis communication response, and grassroots engagement efforts for a variety of educational institutions and private businesses.
Before starting K Communications, LLC in 2009, Patti worked as the Public Information Officer for Nordonia Hills City Schools for 15 years focusing on building strong relationships and focusing on the human-side of business. Building strong relationships, trust and credibility guide her approach to communications and organizational strategy. As a veteran of the communications field, her experience encompasses a full range of communication, marketing, and public relations services. These include defining markets, competitive analysis, creating and delivering professional development, community engagement programs, strategic communication facilitation, leadership coaching, website content development and management, image and brand development, safety plan development, crisis communication, media placement, and special events promotion.
Ms. Koslo joined eSchoolView in 2015, serving as the Director of Client Engagement. Focusing on the customer – anticipating their needs, providing exceptional customer support, and using interpersonal skills to deliver insight to enhance their organization.
Ms. Koslo has presented on generational communication, brand marketing, parent and family engagement, and crisis communication at state and national conferences and has published journal articles in the same areas.
In addition to her work at K Communications, LLC, Patti has served many roles on various boards, including Vice President for the National School Public Relations Association, President of the Ohio Chapter of School Public Relations, Nordonia Hills Rotary President, Executive Director for the Nordonia Schools Foundation, and Treasurer for the Ohio School Public Relations Association. Ms. Koslo continues to serve as a consultant and trusted advisor to foundations and non-profits looking to build innovative fundraising strategies and strengthen their communication efforts.
